SALESWATCH FEATURES
- Can we monitor the search engines and what keywords people use to find our site?
No, if you need aggregated statistics, including complete search keywords list, you could use a popular website statistic package, such as Webalizer, AWstats or Analog.
Most host providers offer access to website statistics as part of their service.
- Can I create predefined answers if I know I'm going to be asked the same questions by most visitors, so I don't have to repeatedly type in the same answers?
Yes. You can create ready-made responses inside your Collabrix client.
You can define answers at the company level and make it accessible to all operators, or for each operator individually.
After you set up predefined answers, a SalesWatch operator will be able to choose them from a drop-down list in the Collabrix client. Operators may edit or customize these messages as necessary before they are sent to the visitor.
- Do you also have the ability to push URL, so my customer can see it?
Yes, you can push any URL through the chat window, and it will be an active link in the chat window for the visitor. When the visitor clicks on it, the link associated with that web page will be displayed in a new browser window so the visitor is not directed away from the chat conversation.
- Is it possible to block IPs?
Blocking IPs can come handy when you have a troublesome customer. This is however not possible in our current version.
We have had only a few cases during the last year of SalesWatch operations globally when this was really necessary.
In most cases you can just ignore a troublesome user couple of times (close his chat session without accepting the call), and this will look to him like there is no one on your side to answer.
- Can I monitor visitor traffic on my eBay auction page?
No, unfortunately not. Java script would have to be added to the auction page. Current eBay rules prohibit the use of Java script in the auction page source code.
- Do you offer VoIP and/or video chat?
Our system supports text messaging only. VoIP and video are not available at this time.
- Is there a limit to the number of chats I can have each month?
There is no limit. You may have an unlimited number of chats with any number of unique visitors. Your subscription package defines only the number of operators within your company account.
|
CHAT BUTTONS
- Can I place chat buttons on more than one site / domain?
Yes. You can place chat buttons on any number of pages, sites, and domains. Your subscription package defines only the number of operators/seats within your company account.
- Can your system be used with dynamic and secure web pages?
Yes. Our system works on both static and dynamic pages created with any technology (HTML, PHP, ASP, JSP, CGI and others), on any kind of hosting.
|
INTERNET CONNECTION
- Do I need a DSL or cable broadband connection?
The SalesWatch service works fine on dial-up modem connections. Always-on connections like broadband are preferable for operators to be online most of the time.
- What about the security of our conversations?
All your chat sessions are run over a secure connection.
Our system supports industry-strength, 128-bit secure SSL connections.
- Will your product still work if I'm on a corporate network? Will our firewall, proxy server, or antivirus software affect it?
The SalesWatch system works over standard HTTP or HTTPS (80 or 443 ports) and does not use any incoming connections.
It should work without requiring port mapping / forwarding rules on any network where you can access web pages with browsers like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
If you encounter any problems connecting to the SalesWatch service, please write to us at customerservice@tatacommunications.com
- I can't log into my account. What should I do?
Make sure you have spelled everything correctly. Note that the account email name is not case sensitive, but the password is. If you forget your login information, write to us at customerservice@tatacommunications.com and we will send it to you.

Let's say my sales staff goes home but wants to continue monitoring in the evening. The license restricts the number of operators but not how many places they can log-in from, right?
Yes. The subscription package defines only the total number of operator profiles within your account, not the locations they can monitor from.
Operators can download and install the Collabrix client and log in from any number of places, and serve any number of web sites.
A SalesWatch operator can even have the Collabrix client open on several computers simultaneously.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- Your chat button code generates security warning on my website. How do I fix this?
Our chat button code is designed to work on both secure and non-secure web pages. It was tested accurately and it works successfully on thousands of websites. Please try to remove the chat button code, publish changes and reload the page. Most probably the warning will remain as it is generated by some other piece of code.
Fix the problem code and then add the chat button code to the website again.
-
Your chat button code doesn't work on my website. What should I do?
Please check if the chat button code on your published page looks exactly the same as the code provided in your account Control Panel. Sometimes the code gets corrupted or modified by website building services or hosting providers.
If the code is not modified, please check if it is inserted within the <body>...</body> tags of your page. The code should work well if it is not modified and inserted correctly. If it doesn't, the most probable reason of the issue is some incompatibility between your particular website and the code.
Please write to us at customerservice@tatacommunications.com and describe your issue in detail.
-
I don't receive your e-mails nor chat transcripts to my e-mail address. What should I do?There can be several reasons of this issue:
- Messages can be blocked by your spam-blocker or go to the Junk e-mail folder.
- Messages can be deferred by your mail service depending on its server load. This occurs often with free mail services such as Hotmail.
- Messages can be blocked or rejected by your mail service if your mail account is configured to accept messages only from certain domains or certain e-mail addresses. This can occur with services such as AOL.
- Your mail server can route messages incorrectly.
To solve the issue please do the following:
- Check your spam-blocker and mailbox preferences to allow messages from our domain tataindicombroadband.com. Please also check your Junk e-mail folder.
- Contact your mail administrator if you are using a corporate mail server to check if messages from our domain tataindicombroadband.com are accepted and routed correctly.
- Try to use another e-mail address provided by another service e.g. your Gmail or Yahoo mailbox. If you receive messages to this new email address successfully, then the issue seems to be related to your mail service.
If all of this doesn't help, please write to us at customerservice@tatacommunications.com.
- I forgot my password. How can I recover it?
To use the SalesWatch service, your operators need to install an application called Collabrix.
To recover your account password, click the Forgot Password link on the Collabrix Login page.
The password will be sent to the e-mail, specified in your Account Settings / Account Profile page.
- I can't log into my account. What should I do?
